Welcome to Aincrad! These rules keep SAO World fair and fun for everyone. They are accepted automatically when you join our Discord or play on the server, and staff decisions apply both on Discord and in game. Not knowing a rule is never an excuse.

1. Fair play & cheating
- Hacked clients, cheats, X-ray, auto-aim, kill aura and any unfair advantage are forbidden.
- Allowed: performance and visual mods (OptiFine/Sodium, shaders, minimaps without entity or ore radar). If in doubt, ask in a ticket before using a mod.
- Macros, auto-clickers and any automated farming without you at the keyboard are bannable.
- Using bugs or exploits, especially item or money duplication, is forbidden. Report them privately with a duplication-bug ticket: fair reports may be rewarded, abuse is punished.
2. Economy & trading
- Real-money trading (selling or buying items, Col, accounts or services for real money or other games) is strictly forbidden.
- Scamming in trades is forbidden. Always use the in-game trade system: deals made outside of it are at your own risk.
- Price manipulation, market abuse and the use of multiple accounts to farm rewards are forbidden.
3. Accounts
- Your account is personal: do not share, lend or sell it. You are responsible for everything done on it.
- Alt accounts may not be used to bypass a sanction, a limit or a cooldown.
- Usernames, skins, guild names and character names must be appropriate.
4. Dungeons & PvP
- No AFK leeching in dungeons, events or parties.
- In PvP, play fair: no spawn camping, no exploiting terrain bugs, no harassing the same player.
5. Guilds & community
- Guild leaders are responsible for their guild’s name, banner and behaviour.
- Spam, insults and advertising in game chat follow the same rules as Discord.
- Before opening a ticket about a lost item or money, check your bank: it may be there.
6. Sanctions
- Sanctions depend on severity and repetition: warning, mute, temporary ban, then permanent ban. Serious offences (cheating, duplication, real-money trading, hate speech) can lead to an immediate permanent ban.
- Items or Col gained through rule breaking can be removed, including from other players who received them.
- You can appeal a sanction once, through a ticket, with a calm explanation.
