Welcome to Aincrad! These rules keep SAO World fair and fun for everyone. They are accepted automatically when you join our Discord or play on the server, and staff decisions apply both on Discord and in game. Not knowing a rule is never an excuse.

1. Respect & behaviour
- Be respectful to everyone. Insults, provocation, toxicity and drama are not welcome.
- Harassment, threats, discrimination, racism, sexism and hate speech lead to an immediate ban.
- Keep sensitive topics (politics, religion, real-world conflicts) out of the server.
- Settle disagreements in private, or open a ticket so the staff can help.
2. Chat & channels
- Use each channel for its purpose and the right language channel for your language.
- No spam, flood, excessive caps, mass mentions or unnecessary staff pings.
- No NSFW, shocking, violent or illegal content, in messages, names, avatars or statuses.
- No advertising or self-promotion (servers, links, DMs) without staff approval.
3. Safety & privacy
- Never share personal information, yours or anyone else’s (address, photos, accounts…).
- Never click suspicious links and never give out your passwords or login codes: staff will never ask for them.
- Impersonating a player, a staff member or SAO World is forbidden.
4. Staff & support
- Staff decisions must be respected. If you disagree, contact the staff calmly through a ticket, not in public channels.
- Bugs go in the bug-report forum, ideas in the suggestions forum, everything else in a ticket.
- Partnership requests are made through a ticket. Staff applications are made on saoworld.net and can take up to 10 days.
5. SAO World content
- SAO World’s original creations (website, 3D models, textures, music, videos…) are protected. Third-party and royalty-free assets used on the server belong to their respective authors and are used under their licenses.
- Copying, reusing or redistributing SAO World content, even partially, is forbidden without permission.
- SAO World keeps only the minimum data it needs. It is never sold or used for advertising.
